New London sightseeing experience

We have partnered up with The View from The Shard to launch a new sightseeing experience in London from 1st April, The View from The River.

Sail along the Thames during a 50-minute circular cruise and see London’s most iconic landmarks while listening to live commentary provided by our London Expert. The tour will depart from London Bridge City Pier and you will sail past The Shard, Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe, St Paul’s Cathedral, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, The London Eye, Tower of London and under Tower Bridge.

This is a circular boat tour and will not stop at our other piers along the Thames. You will embark and disembark at London Bridge City Pier.

Frequently asked questions

Is London Bridge City Pier accessible?

London Bridge City Pier is not wheelchair accessible and unfortunately, we cannot accommodate wheelchair users on The View from The River tours. Bankside Pier is only 12 to 15 minutes away from The Shard and is fully accessible for those wishing to travel on Uber Boat by Thames Clippers regular services.

Users with prams can use London Bridge City Pier. 

Mobility scooter users must join our Mobility Scooter Recognition Scheme before boarding.

How to get to London Bridge City Pier?

It's a short walk from The Shard to London Bridge City Pier through London Bridge Station then across Tooley Street.

A ticket for The View from The River costs £17 per person or £10 only when purchased with a ticket for The View from The Shard.

Travelling with children

Children aged three and under travel for free on The View from The River boat tour but parents will still need to reserve them a seat when booking tickets on The View from The Shard's website.
