Shippapx Award 2024

Shippax High-speed Ferry Award 2024

Earth Clipper and Big Ben

Earth Clipper, Uber Boat by Thames Clippers first hybrid vessel, has won the 2024 Shippax High-Speed Ferry Award! This prestigious recognition celebrates our commitment to reducing emissions without compromising performance.

Earth Clipper operates solely on battery power while transporting commuters and sightseers through the Capital and recharges while using biofuelled power outside of central London.

Earth Clipper joined our fleet in September 2023 since then her sister vessel, Celestial Clipper, has also entered service, and Mars Clipper is getting ready for her maiden journey from the Isle of Wight.

We're proud to be recognized for advancing eco-friendly ferry solutions.

Ferry Operator of the Year 2023

National Transport Awards

NTA Win Graphic (1)

This award is open to ferry operators that run services from ports located in the UK and Ireland. Uber Boat by Thames Clippers scooped first place as a result of the introduction of a new pier at Barking Riverside, enhanced services, and operational developments. As a result of these investments in infrastructure and operational improvements, we achieved a record-breaking milestone with over 4.5 million passengers traveling with us in London in 2022.

This award is thanks to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, as well as the ongoing support of our passengers and partners. We're excited to continue pushing the boundaries of what's possible in ferry transportation, and we're committed to making a positive impact on both the environment and the communities we serve.

We have previously won the Ferry Operator of the Year accolade in 2016, 2017, and 2019.
