For 25 years, London's leading River Bus service has been transporting commuters and sightseers along the iconic Thames. To mark this silver anniversary milestone, we are giving away a whopping 600 free River Roamer tickets in 24 hours!

Our high-speed River Bus service started on 24 May 1999. Captained by Sean, our CEO, Storm Clipper ferried passengers from Greenland (Surrey Quays) Pier to Savoy Pier (now Woods Quay). 

Over 25 trailblazing years, we have grown from a single cross-river ferry to a fleet of 21 vessels, including three new hybrid catamarans. Looking ahead, the service is committed to reducing emissions without compromising performance.

How to enter our giveaway

For 24 hours only, from 00:01 to 23:59 on Friday, 24 May, you can enter for a chance to win one of 600 River Roamer tickets. These hop-on/hop-off tickets allow you to explore London and the Thames at your your own pace between Barking Riverside and Putney piers.

  • Competition starts at 00:01 on Friday 24 May 2024 and closes at 23:59 on Friday 24 May 2024.
  • On Tuesday 28 May 2024, six hundred winners will be selected at random to win one River Roamer ticket each.
  • An email will be sent from Uber Boat by Thames Clippers with a promotional code to redeem the ticket. It's the entrants responsibility to check their spam folders.
  • A River Roamer ticket entitles the holder to all-day unlimited travel with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers for one person. 
  • The promotional code will expire 12 months after email is sent to winner. 
  • The promotional code has to be redeemed on the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers website at thamesclippers.com/booking
  • The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding Uber Boat by Thames Clippers employees, their immediate families and affiliated companies.
