The pier offers convenient access to the areas of Blackfriars, Castle Baynard, Cordwainer and the City of London. There are a number of well-known attractions within walking distance of the pier and many workplaces.
Blackfriars Pier is wheelchair, mobility scooter and pram accessible.
Tickets can be bought at ticket machines at the pier before travel, but to save time and money touch in and out with your Oyster or contactless card. You can also buy your tickets online or use the Uber app or the Thames Clippers Tickets app.
On weekdays, RB1 Westbound services to London Eye (Waterloo) and Eastbound services to North Greenwich or Woolwich (Royal Arsenal) piers call at Blackfriars roughly every 20 minutes 08:00-10:00 and 15:50-20:10.
Most Eastbound RB6 services terminate at Blackfriars but some continue to Canary Wharf or North Greenwich Piers. Westbound RB6 services travel to Putney Pier roughly every half-hour 06:19-09:16 and 16:23-19:50.
No services call at Blackfriars Pier during the daytime on weekdays or at weekends.
At off-peak times and weekends, please cross Millennium Bridge and use Bankside Pier which is served throughout the day.
