Perfect for exploring London's South Bank, Bankside Pier has step-free access and is a great alternative for passengers using a wheelchair or pram that wish to travel to London Bridge. Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe and Borough Market are all within easy reach of Bankside Pier. Millennium Bridge provides a direct connection to the historic City of London.
Tickets can be bought at ticket machines at the pier before travel, but to save time and money touch in and out with your Oyster or contactless card. You can also buy your tickets online or use the Uber app or the Thames Clippers Tickets app.

Across Millennium Bridge, Blackfriars and Mansion House stations are on the District and Circle lines and are also about 15 minutes' walk.
National Rail services call at Blackfriars, London Bridge or Cannon Street (10-minute walk) stations.
There is a Santander Cycle Hire docking point on New Globe Walk, allowing you to cycle around London as you please.
If you want to travel by car, there is an NCP car park nearby on the Thames Exchange on the north side of the river. Bankside Pier is within the Congestion Zone and ULEZ.
There are usually taxis, Ubers and several bus routes on Southwark Bridge, allowing for quick and easy travel further into the city.
