With space for 150 passengers and 100 bicycles, Orbit Clipper offers a smooth, quiet, and zero-emission journey, powered entirely by electricity whether you’re commuting to work, exploring the city, or simply crossing the river.
Orbit Clipper will make a big difference for cyclists wanting to cross the Thames. Thanks to a roll-on/roll-off system, cyclists can board easily by wheeling their bikes straight on and off the ferry.

Where to buy the Cross River tickets?
The cross river fare at £2.90 to travel between Rotherhithe and Canary Wharf, and the Cross River Multi-ticket savers are available only on the Thames Clippers Tickets and Uber apps.

- The Electric Crossing Launch fare of £2.90 per single journey is available until 31 October 2026, exclusively via the Thames Clippers Tickets and Uber apps, for crossing between Rotherhithe and Canary Wharf only.
- This ticket cannot be used for the other river crossings between Greenland (Surrey Quays) and Canary Wharf, and between Barking Riverside and Woolwich (Royal Arsenal).
- The Multi-ticket saver offers 10 or 20 journeys at £2.90 per journey and is available beyond this date.
- Tickets will expire within 90 days of purchase.
- Once activated each Cross River ticket is valid for 15 minutes.
