We are delighted to announce that we have launched a new, improved and more modern booking and ticketing system that we hope will enhance the experience for customers booking on our website.

Here's an overview on what has changed:

  • A new booking page
A new layout to make it easier for you to navigate our range of tickets. Just go to thamesclippers.com/booking and book your tickets.

Remember that you save money when buying online!

Like before, when you book online you’ll receive an eTicket with a QR code by email; print or download to your mobile device and show to a member of staff before boarding.

  • Gift cards
Gift cards have changed format. You now need to enter the amount you want to load onto the card. The recipient then simply enters the gift voucher code at checkout to pay for any ticket type they wish. If money remains on the gift card they can use it at a later date.

Gift cards for the River Bus are a thoughtful Christmas present! Check them out

  • Do you have a gift voucher that you haven’t had the chance to use yet?
No worries, you can still use your gift voucher in the new system. Select the ticket corresponding to your gift voucher (for example a River Roamer) then enter the voucher code at checkout, it’s that easy.

  • Accounts
Some customers may have had an account in the old booking system; those accounts will be deleted but we will retain transactional details and marketing opt-in status. The new system doesn’t currently have an account feature but we hope to be able to offer that option in the near future.

Accounts on the Thames Clippers Tickets app, where you can buy season tickets and carnets, are not affected by this change.

  • Product availability
We are still adjusting and enhancing the system, that means some experiences aren’t currently for sale; but we are working towards making these available for purchase soon:

    • Park & Glide for work;
You can still buy Park & Glide for Leisure, for all-day parking at The O2 and River Roamer tickets.

    • Joint tickets with St Paul’s Cathedral, Painted Hall, and London Transport Museum.
Our joint tickets to travel by river and cable car can be booked on our new booking page.
  • Concession and Carer tickets
Carer tickets, for users assisting a passenger with a disability, can now be purchased online for all timetabled tickets (this excludes joint tickets and some special sailings).
