Before you begin, make sure you have your mobile device, headphones, and your 10-character code from your PDF ticket.

  1. Connect to the onboard Wi-Fi: Open your device's Wi-Fi settings and select "_UberBoatbyThamesClippers Wi-Fi". A portal should appear automatically, if not, open your browser to trigger it. Fill in the form and accept the Terms and Conditions.

    Already connected before? Your device will be recognised automatically, skip straight to step 2.

  2. Activate your code: Tap the button below, enter your 10-character code, and select your preferred language.

  3. Put on your headphones and enjoy
    Please be considerate of fellow passengers and keep your audio to headphones only.

Once the audio guide starts you can switch between themes, and you can continue using your phone, but please do not close the tab.

FAQ

The Wi-Fi portal isn't opening, what can I do?

Open your device's Wi-Fi settings and select _UberBoatbyThamesClippers Wi-Fi. A portal page should appear automatically. If it doesn't, open your browser — this should trigger it. If the portal still doesn't appear you may have connected to the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers Wi-Fi before (at a pier or on a boat), your device may have connected automatically without showing the portal. Check your Wi-Fi settings to confirm you are connected, then open your browser manually.

I'm connected to the onboard Wi-Fi but the audio guide isn't launching

If you are connected to the onboard Wi-Fi but cannot access the audio guide, please speak to a member of staff for assistance.

Where do I find my 10-character code?

You confirmation email should have a PDF file attached, please open and copy or type the 10-character code that you see under "Activation code".

Do I need internet / mobile data?

The audio guide runs over the boat Wi-Fi exclusively — no mobile data needed. Please connect to "_UberBoatbyThamesClippers Wi-Fi".

Do I need headphones?

Yes, please bring your own headphones as they won't be provided. 

Do I need a mobile device?

Yes, to enjoy our audio guide you need your own mobile device and headphones. 

How many languages are available?

Currently only English narrated by Rory Bremner but 9 other languages will be available soon.

I closed the tab, what do I do?

If you closed the tab where you were listening to the audio guide just tap the button "Activate your code" and it will take you back to the audio guide.
