Serving Chelsea, Cadogan Pier is named after Earl Cadogan who built the original pier in the 1800s. If you’re travelling along the river at night, be sure to look out for Albert Bridge, lit by thousands of LED lights the sight is unmissable.

Please note: Cadogan is a private pier owned by the Cadogan Estate, you may need to ring the bell labelled 'River Bus Services' to be allowed access.

Tickets can be bought at ticket machines at the pier before travel, but to save time and money touch in and out with your Oyster or contactless card. You can also buy your tickets online or use the Uber app or the Thames Clippers Tickets app.

No services call here on weekends, or during off peak hours on weekdays.

  • Subway

    Sloane Square or South Kensington, on the District and Circle lines, are the nearest London Underground stations to Cadogan Pier. Both stations are around a 20-minute walk from the pier.
  • Bike

    The nearest Santander Cycle stations are on Phene Street, a short walk from the pier or Danvers Street which is further west along Chelsea Embankment.

    The pier is on Cycling Quietway Q15.
  • Parking Fill

    Albert Car Park is just across Albert Bridge from Cadogan Pier in Battersea Park.
  • Car Pickup

    The pier is located immediately next to two bus stops (Albert Bridge QD and QE).

    There will likely be many Uber drivers ready for service in this area too.

If you're planning to board our services but the gate is locked, please press the 'River Bus services' bell on the right-hand-side of the pier's entrance to be allowed in. 

Please be mindful that Cadogan is a residential pier.

Unfortunately, Cadogan Pier is not currently pram, mobility scooter or wheelchair accessible by ramp.
