Don't let the cold stop you from enjoying the capital. We've selected plenty of indoor events for you to enjoy this month, including some great half-term activities to keep your little ones entertained.


Half Term Activities

Half term at Unicorn Theatre

Half term at Unicorn Theatre is filled with free events, such as creating your own spring rainbows, and making sunshine and rainbow with paint, as well as reimagined plays like Icarus, on until 10 March. To find out everything happening, see here.

Half term at Museum of London Docklands

Rainbow Week at National Maritime Museum

Head to the National Maritime Museum from 16-24 February to take part in Rainbow Week. Kids will be able to join guided tours, workshops and events catered for them. Kids will also be able to explore the realities of life on board a pirate ship and discover how sailors in the past have used clothes to create a new identity for themselves. The ultimate fun-packed family day out at The O2

To visit The O2 this half term, hop off at North Greenwich Pier and enjoy a view of one of the greatest skylines in the world from Up at The O2. Between 16-24 February, O2 Priority members can benefit from 50 per cent off. Friday Late: London Stories at London Transport Museum

For all lovers of art, literature, and those fascinated by the mysteries of London, this exhibition is for you. Launching on 8 February, explore the museum after hours and get a sneak peak of their newest exhibition Poster Prize for Illustration: London Stories - a collection of personal illustrations, each capturing a different story inspired by life in, and love of, London. Friday Late will be bringing the capital's stories to life, engaging the senses through captivating talks, workshops and activities. Music, bars and hot food will also be available. Swinging London: A Lifestyle Revolution / Terence Conran – Mary Quant at the Fashion and Textile Museum

From 8 February until 2 June, visit the Fashion and Textile Museum for Swinging London: A Lifestyle Revolution, an exhibition about the fashion, design and art of the 1950s, 60s and 70s in London through the Chelsea Set – a group of radical young architects, designers, photographers and artists. Chinese New Year Parade at Trafalgar Square

London Fashion Week at 180 Strand

From 16-17 February, shop designer collections from over 150 brands, go front row for a show and listen to talks from industry experts so you can get a head start on next season's trends at London Fashion Week. Plus, new for this year is London Fashion Week: Insiders which lets fashionistas attend see-now-buy-now catwalk shows, enjoy immersive experiences and gain access to talks with designers and key industry figures. London Classic Car Show

The impressive car show revs up for a return in 2019 from 14-17 February. With over 700 classic cars in a retro environment, the show will also be celebrating 50 years since ‘The Italian Job’ was first made by looking at a line-up of its star cars including the Lamborghini Miura, Aston Martin DB4 Volante, Jaguar E-Type and the iconic red, white and blue Mini Coopers. Nine Night at Trafalgar Studios

Diane Arbus: ‘In the Beginning’ at Hayward Gallery
