New Greenwich Wintertime Festival: From 1 December the Old Royal Naval College will be home to a new family-friendly experience, combining a traditional covered ice rink with a winter market, artisan food and an enchanting Father Christmas experience. To book your tickets, click here.

Skate at Somerset House with Fortnum & Mason: Part of a winter celebration of contemporary culture at Somerset House, including exhibitions, installations, special events and cutting-edge music, visitors to the site have an array of activities for all ages onsite - from extra-special skating experiences at Skate Lates to festive shopping at Fortnum’s Christmas Arcade. Brace your elfs at the London Transport Museum: All aboard for Festive Fun at London Transport Museum from 1 December 2017 until 5 January 2018. Families can visit Santa’s Secret Hideaway or track him down in one of the Museum’s historic vehicles, as well as enjoy storytelling sessions and make simple origami Christmas tree decorations to take home. Get into the festive spirit with a special Christmas Lights bus tour in central London on selected dates as a storyteller brings a little magic to the streets of London. Discover more here.

Powering up for a de-LIGHT-ful Christmas: Battersea Power Station is kicking off its Christmas festivities on 30th November with the Christmas lights switch on. The moment marks the start of a month-long series of fun and festive activities taking place at Circus West Village in the run up to the holiday, with festivities such as Christmas Gift Shopping at Circus West Pop-Ups, children's Christmas entertainments, pop-up cinema with The Luna Winter Cinema showing festive classics and a giant misletoe at Grosvenor Arch perfect to take an 'elfie'! Winter Trails - Remapping Nine Elms: Winter Trails is a festival of events and activities in Nine Elms taking place between 18 November and 21 December 2017. Winter Trails brings illumination to dark paths and going off the map to explore the area from St George’s Tower to Battersea Power Station this festive season. Events include 'Light Chasers' on 9 December, an evening performance by dancers, skaters and Parkour athletes, and 'Dark Waters: Midwinter Storytelling Walk' on 21 December, a magical night expedition by the river with tales of the Thames and live music to warm your heart.
