Families and adults can save money with a new “three in one” ticket package allowing them to experience stunning views of London’s skyline, float down the river past St. Paul’s Cathedral and other iconic London landmarks, and explore the Museum’s latest Designology exhibition. Those taking advantage of the offer in September will also be able to make the most of the month-long Totally Thames festival which celebrates the river Thames with a number of activities taking place. Passengers will be able to view some of the beautiful art installations along the river as part of the festival.

At a cost of just £27.50 the adult single ticket provides entry to the Emirates Air Line 360 Discovery Experience, a single journey on MBNA Thames Clippers and entry to London Transport Museum. The child single ticket provides entry to all three attractions and costs £8.25. The new combined ticket offer is currently only available online and is only valid for one day on the date shown on the ticket. Visitors catching MBNA Thames Clippers are advised to use Embankment Pier. This pier is the closest pier to the Museum and is only a ten-minute walk away.  MBNA Thames Clippers serve the pier every twenty-minutes throughout the day and every fifteen minutes at weekends, running from Embankment and Westminster to North Greenwich, next to the Emirates Air Line Greenwich Peninsula terminal.


Included in the offer is the Emirates Air Line 360 Discovery Experience which comprises a non-stop return trip on the cable car, an in-flight discovery film, a souvenir guide and free entry to the Emirates Aviation Experience, located at the Greenwich Peninsula terminal, next to the Emirates Air Line. The Emirates Aviation Experience gives visitors an insight into the operations and modern achievements of commercial air travel.


London Transport Museum features real buses, trains and trams for kids to board, with interactive displays and a dedicated kids play zone called All Aboard where children can play on a mini fleet of vehicles and dress up in uniforms to become drivers, mechanics, cleaners, station announcers and even river captains. Designology exhibition included in Museum entry

Designology is London Transport Museum’s latest exhibition which runs until 23 April 2017. The exhibition celebrates great transport design and the influence it has had on daily life in the London. Design lovers will be able to see how internationally recognised design has become part of the everyday urban environment. Posters from the Golden age of travel, to early Tube maps, tickets and signage will show how art and aesthetics were as important as the usefulness of these objects.
