Visitors catching MBNA Thames Clippers are advised to use Embankment Pier. This pier is the closest pier to the Museum and is only a ten-minute walk away. MBNA Thames Clippers serve the pier every twenty-minutes throughout the day and every fifteen minutes at weekends, running from Embankment and Westminster to North Greenwich, next to the Emirates Air Line Greenwich Peninsula terminal.
Included in the offer is the Emirates Air Line 360 Discovery Experience which comprises a non-stop return trip on the cable car, an in-flight discovery film, a souvenir guide and free entry to the Emirates Aviation Experience, located at the Greenwich Peninsula terminal, next to the Emirates Air Line. Designology exhibition included in Museum entry
Designology is London Transport Museum’s latest exhibition which runs until 23 April 2017. The exhibition celebrates great transport design and the influence it has had on daily life in the London. Design lovers will be able to see how internationally recognised design has become part of the everyday urban environment. Posters from the Golden age of travel, to early Tube maps, tickets and signage will show how art and aesthetics were as important as the usefulness of these objects.
