Uber Boat by Thames Clippers are the leading River Bus service on the Thames running a 20-30 minute frequency service between key London piers including North Greenwich, Canary Wharf, London Bridge City, Blackfriars and Embankment.

Since we restarted services on 15 June, we have implemented a range of enhanced hygiene and social distancing measures to remain flexible and keep London moving.

Take to the river and enjoy personal space, fresh air and iconic London sights. Travelling by river could improve your commute. Research by the University of Greenwich shows that people who travel to work by boat are the happiest commuters. Try it for yourself.

Uber Boat by Thames Clippers is offering eligible residents (eligibility listed in terms and conditions) a free 1 month season ticket on the River Bus.

    Bring your bike on board at no extra charge. We can currently carry up to 20 bikes on our largest vessels. Pets are also welcome.

    There are toilets with accessible facilities on board most of the fleet. Our larger boats also have baby changing tables.

  2. Create an account
  3. Complete the form

Make sure that you provide the same email address used to sign up on the Thames Clippers Tickets app. Please allow up to 2 working days to process.

We will add a season ticket for you on your app, please activate within a week or it will expire. All you need to do is show your live ticket on your phone each time you board.

Terms and conditions

  • Offer only available to residents of [TBC]. Proof of address may be requested to confirm eligibility (photo or scan of utility bill or ID with same name as person redeeming offer).
  • Offer valid for and available to customers who have never purchased a season ticket via the Thames Clippers Tickets app or who have not purchased a season ticket via the Thames Clippers Tickets app since October 2019.
  • Offer is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Only two offers per household (limited to one per person) can be redeemed.
  • Any personal details provided to Uber Boat by Thames Clippers will remain confidential and will not be used for marketing purposes or shared with a third party.
  • Thames Clippers Tickets app must be downloaded and an account created in order to redeem this offer; Uber Boat by Thames Clippers will then add a one month season ticket to the app.
  • Once the ticket has been issued, it must be activated within one week. After one week, the ticket will expire and will not be re-issued.
  • The ticket will be valid for one month.
  • The ticket must start no later than Monday 15 March 2021.
  • Uber Boat by Thames Clippers reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend this offer at any time without giving prior notice.
