Thames Clippers welcomes the longest-running international event devoted to the ferry industry – the 44th annual Interferry Conference – which returns to London later this week. Thames Clippers’ CEO Sean Collins is honoured to be President of this year’s conference, 34 years after it was last held here in London in 1985. It was Sean’s wish to host the event in Greenwich, incorporating many of the spectacular cultural venues it has to offer.
The five-day event, running from the 5th to the 9th of October, offers ferry industry specialists the chance to hear from a number of world-class speakers exploring this year’s conference theme of innovation. The theme is especially appropriate, coinciding with Thames Clippers’ 20th anniversary. Constant innovation to deliver a superlative commuter and leisure service has made the company the leading River Bus operator in the capital and one of the most recognised internationally. As well as the hugely informative conference sessions, Thames Clippers is delighted to be offering a Technical Tour, allowing delegates the chance to further understand the Thames operations. There will also be evening events, offering attendees the opportunity to network and discuss the information shared throughout the day.
