Our Fleet of Thames Boats

Thames Clippers operates a fleet of 20 vessels. 17 are high-speed catamarans that operate all of our River Bus routes except RB4 which is usually operated by Twinstar.

It is a maritime tradition to give a fleet connected names and all our vessels have strong weather or space-related links.

Venus Clipper

Venus Clipper - Hunt Class Mark 3

Venus Clipper is the flagship of our fleet. She was built at Wight Shipyard Company on the Isle of Wight, can carry 220 passengers, and arrived in London on 5 March 2019. Venus's livery carries an emerald green wave as she is our greenest vessel to date and joined our fleet just in time for our 20th anniversary, for which emerald is the gemstone.
