  • Thames Clippers was founded in 1999 by Sean Collins (Managing Director) and Alan Woods
  • Thames Clippers began with a single vessel carrying 1500 passengers a week
  • Thames Clippers now carries up to 1500 passengers an hour on some services
  • 7000 passengers a day now travel with us onboard our fleet
  • Tony Blair, Ken Livingston, John Prescott, French President Nicolas Sarkozy and wife - former model Carla Bruni and ex-Australian Prime Minister John Howard have all travelled on Thames Clippers
  • Prior to joining Thames Clippers our Star Clipper carried Queen Elizabeth II from Lambeth to Chelsea harbour
  • Tickets can be easily purchased onboard, on piers or online
  • Those with a valid Travelcard will receive a 1/3 discount on normal advertised adult and child fares
  • Season tickets can be purchased on a monthly or annual basis
  • The Hurricane Clipper has a unique Damien Hirst livery which was commissioned in 2003
  • Michael Palin travelled on the Hurricane Clipper during the filming of his BBC programme
  • The majority of boats were designed by Aimtek - an Australian company which specialises in making products for the aerospace and marine industries
