Timetables

NEW Commuter Service Timetable (as of 6 April 2009) [Opens in new window]

The Tate to Tate service operates between 10.00 and 17.00 seven days a week between Tate Modern (Bankside Pier) and Tate Britain (Millbank Pier). Departures every 40 minutes. Season tickets are also available.

NEW Tate to Tate Service Timetable (as of 13 Oct 2008) [Opens in new window]The Hilton Ferry Service operates between Canary Wharf Pier and Hilton Docklands Riverside seven days a week. Season tickets are also available. Adult single tickets are £3 and all concession rates are valid. The River daily Roamer ticket (£12) is also valid on this service.

Unit Card

This addition to the ticketing structure allows ad hoc users to purchase a book of 10 single journey tickets which can be used at any time.

A 20% discount has been passed on to customers for each journey with Travelcard holders also receiving their standard 1/3 off.

This system is an interim measure to provide additional choice and flexibility to our customers until Thames Clippers becomes fully integrated with the TfL PAYG Oyster card system.

Weekly Season Ticket

In October Thames Clippers introduced a new ticketing strategy. Following customer feedback we have taken steps to simplify the process further. Below is an update on our ticketing structure:

  • To provide additional choice and flexibility, we will be introducing a weekly season ticket from 15th December. Like all season tickets this offers unlimited use over the set time period as well as considerable savings in comparison to single fares.
  • To simplify the renewing of all season tickets, customers will now be issued with a 2-part photo card which will improve the speed and ease with which these tickets are issued at piers and on the boats. A photograph needs only to be supplied once on first application of the ticket.

Please remember that all punch cards issued prior to October 13th 2008 will expire on December 31st 2008.

*The River Roamer ticket allows passengers unlimited hop-on hop-off for a day's travel between QEII Pier and Millbank pier from 10.00 to 22.00 Monday - Friday, 08.00 - 22.00 Saturday/Sunday.

***Thames Clippers is unable to accept Oyster Pre-Pay at this time. There is a £10 minimum for credit and debit card purchases.
