Essential Information

  • Departures from major piers every 20 minutes during peak hours from approximately 06.00 to 1.00.
  • The River Roamer route is valid for unlimited travel between all piers from 9am Monday - Sunday.
  • The O2 Express service is a luxurious way to start your night out at The O2. The direct service operates from Waterloo Pier to North Greenwich Pier at The O2. Departures every 30 mins from Waterloo Pier 3 hours prior to an arena event start time at The O2. After the event, the first departure from North Greenwich Pier is 15 mins after the event finishes.
  • The Tate to Tate service operates between Tate Modern at Bankside Pier and Tate Britain at Millbank Pier with departures every 40 minutes during gallery hours.
  • The Hilton Docklands Ferry service operates between Canary Wharf Pier and the Hilton Docklands on a scheduled service seven days a week.

  • A Family River Roamer ticket offers great savings for unlimited travel to all piers from 9am Monday to Sunday. Tickets are valid for up to 2 adults and 3 children.
  • Our commuter service runs from Royal Arsenal Woolwich Pier (East) to London Eye Pier (West) with stops at the following piers (from East to West); Woolwich, North Greenwich, Greenwich, Masthouse, Greenland, Canary Wharf, Tower, London Bridge, Bankside, Blackfriars, Embankment and London Eye.
  • Thames Clippers services run to Blackfriars Pier and Royal Arsenal Woolwich Pier only during peak commuter times on a weekday. Royal Arsenal Woolwich Pier has service all day at weekends. Please see the timetable for details.
  • Tickets can be easily purchased online, on piers or onboard.
