Going to The O2?

The O2 is a world of entertainment under one roof. Enjoy the state of the art live music club indigO2, 11 screen multiplex cinema, major exhibition centre - The O2 bubble - and over 20 top quality bars and restaurants where you can eat, drink and party seven days a week. As well as the scheduled commuter service, Thames Clippers also operates The O2 Express between Waterloo Pier at the London Eye and the QEII Pier at The O2 where you can purchase direct tickets with the option to upgrade to a VIP Champagne ticket for those extra special occasions.

Which Piers does The O2 Express stop at?

The O2 Express is a direct service from Waterloo Pier to QEII Pier at The O2. Waterloo Pier is located directly in front of the London Eye and QEII Pier is located a short walk from the entrance of The O2. Travel in comfort with the luxurious fleet of catamarans and enter The O2 in style along the covered walkway from the pier to the main entrance.

On the return journey between The O2 and Waterloo, The O2 Express will stop at London Bridge City Pier on request only.

How long does The O2 Express Service take and how frequent is it?

The O2 Express Service takes approximately 30 minutes each way. The O2 Express commences prior to the start of an event and specific timings can be found on The O2 Express booking page. The first boat departs QEII Pier at The O2 15 minutes after the event ends, any further services will dock, fill to capacity and depart. Westbound departures depend on the finishing times of the events and we are therefore unable to provide scheduled departure times for these sailings.

When is The O2 Express available?

The O2 Express service is a luxurious way to start your night out at The O2. The direct service operates between Waterloo Pier to QEII Pier at The O2 on selected event nights at The O2 only.

How much does it cost to travel on The O2 Express?

A single journey on The O2 express is just £6 and a return journey is £12. Champagne tickets are available. Please note there are no concession rates on The O2 Express service and all passengers will require a valid ticket for travel. Tickets for The O2 Express guarantee a seat onboard a specific departure time therefore each passenger travelling will require a valid ticket.

What is a Champagne ticket?

Treat yourself to a glass of champagne whilst onboard The O2 Express. A champagne ticket is a way of adding luxury to your journey to The O2. A one way champagne ticket to The O2 is £13.50 and for a return journey is £19.50.

Refund Policy

We do offer refunds on The O2 Express and Champagne tickets if we are given 72 hours notice prior to travel.

Is it possible to travel to The O2 with Thames Clippers when there is not an event in The O2 arena?

Yes. Our high speed catamarans depart major piers every 20 minutes. From Central London passengers can get onboard (from West to East) at Waterloo, Embankment, Blackfriars, Bankside, London Bridge, Tower, Canary Wharf, Greenland, Masthouse Terrace, Greenwich, QEII and Royal Arsenal Woolwich.
