The O2 is a world of entertainment under one roof. Enjoy the state of the art live music club indigO2, 11 screen multiplex cinema, major exhibition centre - The O2 bubble - and over 20 top quality bars and restaurants in which to eat, drink and party seven days a week. As well as the scheduled commuter service, Thames Clippers also operates The O2 Express and The O2 Express Champagne tickets between Waterloo London Eye Pier and the QEII Pier at The O2.

Where does The O2 Express depart from?

The O2 Express is a direct service from Waterloo Pier to QEII Pier at The O2. QEII Pier is located directly beside The O2. Travel to The O2 in comfort with the luxurious fleet of catamarans and enter The O2 in style along the covered walkway from the pier to the main entrance. River travel with Thames Clippers is easy and comfortable. A single journey on The O2 express is £6 and a return journey is £12. When is The O2 Express available?

The O2 Express service is a luxurious way to start your night out at The O2. The direct service operates from Waterloo Pier to QEII Pier at The O2. Departures every 30 mins from Waterloo Pier 3 hours prior to an arena event start time at The O2. After the event, the first departure from QEII Pier is 15 mins after the event finishes.

How frequent is it?

This service begins three hours prior to the event start on select arena events at The O2. Departures from Waterloo Pier are operating on a 30 minute frequency, on the hour and half past. The last departure is 30 minutes before the event starts. After the event, the first boat departs QEII Pier 15 minutes after the event ends. The next boat departs QEII Pier 30 minutes later. Additional services will be available only on select arena event nights.

Below are the departure times from Waterloo Pier if the arena event starts at 19.30:
16.30, 17.00, 17.30, 18.00, 18.30 and 19.00

Below are the departure times from Waterloo Pier if the arena event starts at 20.00:
17.00, 17.30, 18.00, 18.30, 19.00 and 19.30

Is it possible to travel to The O2 with Thames Clippers when there is not an event in The O2 arena?

Yes. Our hi-speed catamarans depart major piers every 20 minutes. From Central London passengers can get onboard (from West to East) at Waterloo, Embankment, Blackfriars, Bankside, London Bridge, Tower, Canary Wharf, Greenland, Masthouse Terrace, Greenwich, QEII and Royal Arsenal Woolwich. The scheduled commuter service is in operation starting in the early morning through well past midnight.
