Departures from Waterloo Pier are operating on a 30 minute frequency, on the hour and half past. The last departure is 30 minutes before the event starts. After the event, the first boat departs QEII Pier 15 minutes after the event ends. The next boat departs QEII Pier 30 minutes later. Is it possible to travel to The O2 with Thames Clippers when there is not an event in The O2 arena?Yes. Our hi-speed catamarans depart major piers every 20 minutes. From Central London passengers can get onboard (from West to East) at Waterloo, Embankment, Blackfriars, Bankside, London Bridge, Tower, Canary Wharf, Greenland, Masthouse Terrace, Greenwich, QEII and Royal Arsenal Woolwich. Season ticket holders, students, Travelcard holders, Freedom Pass holders and children are eligible for a reduced rate. Alternatively, purchase a River Roamer ticket for £8. A River Roamer ticket allows passengers unlimited hop-on hop-off for a day's travel between QEII Pier and Millbank pier from 10.00 to 22.00 on weekdays. The River Roamer is valid on weekends between Royal Arsenal Woolwich Pier and Millbank Pier from the first morning departure through 22.00. Family River Roamer ticket is available for £18. (One pass is valid for up to 2 adults and 2 children.) The seating areas are spacious, comfortable and climate controlled – plus all passengers are guaranteed a seat. The stunning riverside views of London's many landmarks can be appreciated from any seat onboard, so choose from individual seats in the centre of the cabin or relax in the couch area by the windows. Passengers are also welcome to enjoy the deck at the back of the vessel. Onboard you will find a great ambience, helpful staff, snacks and refreshments, newspapers, toilet facilities and plasma screens. Tickets can be easily purchased onboard, on piers or online. |
